Hi! Welcome to The Saltwater Edit.

I’m in my late thirties and I’ve been traveling for as long as I can remember, in every version there is. Budget trips, luxury trips, girls’ trips, couples’ trips, and now — with a toddler in tow — family trips too. Different seasons of life, different kinds of travel, but the same person showing up for all of it.

What I’m chasing on a trip is pretty consistent though: a good vibe and experience. I want to feel like part of the place, not just a visitor passing through — great culture, ambiance, a view worth stopping for, activities that actually add something, and experiences that stick with me long after I’ve unpacked. Also, I’m truly a beach girly at heart hence the title of my blog :).

This is a personal space to share what I find with my community and friends, and honestly, a place to keep my own memories somewhere real. In a world with more AI-generated everything by the day, I still think a real, lived, human experience is worth something — so that’s what you’ll find here.
